Robert and Cindy Pellett have been keeping chickens for over 30 years, as well as designing and building chicken housing they feel they have a lot of valuable chicken keeping advice to pass onto those who are new to keeping chickens.

Chicken Keeping Courses Information

The course itself will be aimed at new keepers who aren't sure or who're feeling overwhelmed by the sheer volume of information in books and on the internet, and just need some friendly reliable advice to get them started.

Find out about hens and their needs as well as hens and your needs.
We have guest speaker Fred Hams who has 70 years experience based on the grounds that his first poultry memory was when he was six.
Learn about the different types of housing as well as having plenty of housing at the course to get a better idea of how the hens use their homes.
There'll be hens there to handle.
We'll feed you.

The courses are held at the Great Chart Golf Club about a mile away from Forsham Cottage Arks, a few miles outside Ashford in Kent. The courses gather at 10:30, start at 11am and finish about 3:30 - 4'ish.

The price is £85.00 per person and £75.00 for every subsequent person, these prices also include lunch.
